MBAISE NOLLY TV SUPERBLY LAUNCHED, CO-SPONSORED BY DR OSONDU, ATTORNEY UKPABI, OTHER MBAISE DIASPORA PATRIOTS, AS PROFESSOR OPARAOJI RECEIVES LEGENDARY AWARD.
Mbaise, Imo State, Nigeria, February 2022: The launch of MBAISE NOLLY TV, recently held at Mbaise, Imo State, Nigeria, and co-sponsored by some notable Mbaise citizens in the diaspora, was grand and successful. Among the co-sponsors of the event, were leaders of the Mbaise Policy Roundtable (MPR) a non-governmental organization with offices in Owerri Imo State, Nigeria and New York USA, namely her Chairman Professor Eddie Oparaoji, Deputy Chairman Dr Law Osondu and Executive Secretary Attorney Paschal Ukpabi. Other co-sponsors were Mr and Mrs Alex Chukwu, Mr and Mrs Dozie Onwuliri, and Mr and Mrs Emma Nwankwo. The organizers through its representative Apostle Declan Anyanwu, has profusely expressed their gratitude for the support.
During the program, Professor Oparaoji, alongside others, was recognized with a “Legendary Award….as the Golden Father Grand Patron of Mbaise Nolly TV, in Recognition of your Outstanding Contributions and Support to the Growth of Mbaise Nolly TV at Large”. Reacting to the award Professor Oparaoji, who was represented at the program by Hon Chris Uche Agomuo, councilor representing Amuzi-Ihenweorie ward at the Ahiazu Local Government, said, “that was a wonderful but sobering moment to be so highly recognized by the youths of our community, who are in the very vibrant entertainment industry. I have always wanted to do right by our youths and community, and this award is a validation, as well as motivation. We must not rest on our oars. I sincerely commend our youths, as I accept the award with appreciation and humility to God”
Other award recipients were Ogechi Obinonu, Apostle Declan Anyanwu, High Chief Dr Sir Tony Ihuoma, ASC. Engr Nwagu Ebuka, Lolo Theresa Okpechi, Elder Remigius Nwaogu, Anyanwu Reginald Chikwado, Njoku Samuel O, Dike Isidore, Chika Ogbonna, and Skinface Henry among others.
According to the organizers, MBAISE NOLLY TV is targeted towards empowering the youth of Mbaise nation through entertainment, as well as showcase the exceptional values and virtues of the Mbaise nation. The platform will also serve as a medium through which campaigns and awareness against social vices can be propoagated.
