April 29, 2020: Beginning next week, MPR will launch her very innovative knowledge based COVID 19 Prevention Awareness Program, in the 36 wards of the 3 LGAs of Mbaise. About 250 healthcare workers will be trained and deployed, leveraging existing local, State government and WHO resources Th.e goal of this program is to empower the people with requisite knowledge to make the right behavioral choices that keeps everyone safe. The healthcare workers will be making weekly teaching and compliance assessment visits to ensure people are strictly engaging in the right behaviors.
